Postdoctoral Position in Biogeochemical Modelling A 2-year postdoctoral position in biogeochemical modelling is available at the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research (BCCR), within EU FP6 Integrated Project CARBOOCEAN (http://www.carboocean.org). The BCCR comprises the largest climate research group in Norway and has the status of national Center of Excellence. The BCCR´s Secretariat is a unit of Unifob AS (http://www.unifob.uib.no/). The candidate will implement a land vegetation carbon cycle module into the framework of the Bergen Climate Model (BCM) and carry out interactive climate carbon cycle future scenarios. Special emphasis will be placed on a correct simulation of oceanic carbon sources and sinks. Previous experience from interdisciplinary climate modelling is necessary.
