We have an immediate requirement for a graduate to join the air quality team within our large and established Environment group. This full time position is based in Cardiff. The main focus of work will be in providing assistance with a wide variety of air quality impact assessments, including major highways schemes, airports and industry, both in the UK and abroad. In addition, the provision of support to other areas of the Environment group's work, including EIA, would be expected. The successful candidate will be numerate and have a minimum of a first degree in an atmospheric science or closely related subject, preferably a second degree. Practical experience in numerical modelling of pollutant dispersion or monitoring of ambient air pollutants would be advantageous. It is also expected that the candidate will be working towards becoming a member of IAQM or other appropriate professional body. Excellent written English and communication skills and a full UK driving license are essential.
