
| School of Environmental Sciences Researcher in Physical Oceanography Salary £20,044 to £26,470, per annum Ref: RA237 We are seeking an enthusiastic physical oceanographer to work with us on a research project jointly led by UEA and the British Antarctic Survey. The project involves a research cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula in January 2007, where we will conduct an oceanographic survey and launch floats and drifters. You will play a key role in the data collection, analysis, interpretation and publication. Ideally you will have a PhD in Physical Oceanography, with experience of computing in Matlab and Unix. However, applicants with other numerate/dynamical backgrounds will be considered. The post is available for up to 3 years and will ideally start between 1 July and 1 September 2006.
