BAS-Serco Ltd., a Bermudian joint venture company offering facilities
management and general outsourcing services, is seeking Meteorological
Technicians (Observers) to work at the Bermuda Weather Service on a
temporary basis (3 months). Job Title: Meteorological Technician (Observer) and Aeronautical Information Service Officer Organisation: Bermuda Weather Service, BAS-Serco, Ltd. Website: www.weather.bm, www.bas-serco.bm Location: Bermuda International Airport Length of post: 3 months Renumeration and benefits:,br> US$25 per hour, at least 37.5 hours per week (overtime to be paid at time and a half). Accommodation and transport costs covered. Comprehensive health benefits package. Experience required: 3 years experience with Upper Air, Synoptic and METAR observations. Prior experience as a trainer desireable The successful candidate will:- a) take a shift-work position as an operational Meteorological Technician (Observer) and AIS Officer, and b) train Bermudian staff to permanently fill this role.
