A 3.5 year post-doctoral post is available at Edinburgh University to study nutrient constraints on plant respiration in tropical and temperate forest ecosystems. The project is funded by the UK Natural Environment Research Council. It will involve work in tropical South America, Australia and New Zealand. The deadline for applications is 30th April 2008, with the interview date planned for 22nd May 2008. The appointee should take up the position in July or August 2008, or as soon as possible thereafter.
