January poEMS will be hosted by the Department of Geosciences on Friday, Jan. 30 from 2-3 p.m. in 541 Deike Building.

Dr. Russell Graham has accepted the position of Director of the EMS Museum and will be joining the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences on April 1, 2004.

An EMS Casino Night will be held on February 13, 2004 at the Nittany Lion Inn, starting at 7:00 p.m. Join the fun!

EMS Student Council has already raised almost $3000 to support THON, and they are hoping to make their first year in THON a memorable one. Nominations are being accepted for the Wilson Award for Outstanding Teaching in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. You are invited and encouraged to nominate an EMS faculty member for the 2004 Matthew J. and Anne C. Wilson Outstanding Teaching Award. The deadline is February 15, 2004. [More Info].
