Visiting Meteorology
Department of Meteorology Visits or Tours
- If you are a prospective undergraduate (BS degree) student:
Individual visits can be scheduled by contacting the Earth and Mineral
Sciences (EMS) Ryan Family Student Center at (814) 863-2751 or by
emailing Linda Spangler at spangler@ems.psu.edu. Opportune times to
visit the department (and College of Earth and Mineral Scienes) are
during EMEX (The College of Earth and Mineral Science's Open House)
usually held in February, or during Penn State's "Spend A Summer Day"
program in July and August.

- If you are an educator, or organizer of a community group or class and would like to give your group or class a tour of the Department of Meteorology: Please contact the weather station manager, Bill Syrett (wjs1@psu.edu).
