Job description

Class of 2017 - New Graduate Program

Risk Management Solutions (RMS)
Newark, CA or Hoboken, NJ, United States
Active Full-Time Regular

What is RMS?

RMS = Risk Management Solutions. We are the industry leader in the lesser known but super awesome field of Actuarial Science, casually referred to as Catastrophe Modeling. This means that we take any and all possible disasters – earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, terrorism, disease outbreaks, even over-population – and we quantify the risk posed by these events.

We’re some of the only people in the world that can take the abstract idea of these potential circumstances and turn them into real concrete possibilities and data. Governments and insurance companies need this data so that they’re not just walking blind into potentially catastrophic situations. We make the planet safer and more resilient every day.

Celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2014, we are now evolving our vision by delivering future solutions in the cloud, releasing in the later part of 2016 a cutting edge risk management platform ‘RMS(one)’ for the global risk market. RMS(one) will create a holistic and integrated view across the enterprise with one platform for all models, all points of view, and all data. All will be run as equal partners on RMS(one).
