Department: ESSIC

Starting Salary: DOE

Closing Date: Open until filled

Duties:

We are seeking applicants for a post-doctoral associate position in crop modeling. This position is part of an ongoing project to develop an integrated modeling framework that couples state-of-the-art climate, hydrology, agriculture, and economy models. The post-doctoral associate will focus on the development, evaluation, and application of an advanced dynamic crop modeling system. This will involve calibrating, testing, and analyzing a suite of crop growth models and coupling them with a regional climate model. The associate will be encouraged and supported in conducting and publishing research on crop modeling and agricultural impact assessment.
