WABI TV METEOROLOGIST/REPORTER

JOB SUMMARY:

WABI TV 5, a Gray Television station seeks a meteorologist/reporter. Duties include preparing and delivering weekend weathercasts for on-air, website and social media. The job also includes preparing and delivering weather segments for 10 p.m. newscasts on The CW three weekdays, and other newscasts on a fill-in basis. There will also be some general assignment reporting required. Familiarity with Final Cut 10 editing system desired. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Background in news and television production is preferred but not required
  • Attention to accuracy while excelling in multi-tasking
  • Must pass required pre-hire/random drug screening
