Research Interests:
Dr. Babb’s research interests are focused on the retrieval of cloud microphysical properties using ground-based remote sensing instruments. Currently, techniques are being tested to retrieve the cloud droplet distributions from Doppler spectra collected with a 94-GHz radar. The aim of this research is to develop a better understanding of cloud structure and interactions through improved observation and analysis techniques.
