Research Interests: Synoptic meteorology, communication of weather information to general public, science reporting in the media, science education through television. 

Teaching Interests: Weather analysis and forecasting, broadcast meteorology, general meteorology and climatology. 

Mr. Gadomski is a senior member of the Penn State Weather Communications Group which explores issues related to presentation of meteorological information to business clients and the general public. Since 1986, the group has provided the daily weather page and editorial support for weather related stories in the New York Times. Since 1983, he has been co-producer of Weather World, a nightly weather presentation seen on Pennsylvania Public Television Stations. Both projects are laboratories designed to explore practical issues related to providing improved weather information to the public. 

Mr. Gadomski has appeared on the Today Show, the NBC Nightly News, the CBS Evening News, Good Morning America, National Public Radio and numerous other national broadcasts and publications to provide expertise in explaining weather-related information.
