Allegheny Highlands Climate Change Impacts Initiative

Registration is now open for our October 16-18 “Climate Change: Science, Impacts, Preparedness, Communication, and Solutions” Conference, at Blackwater Falls State Park in Davis, West Virginia.

We have assembled a great group of expert presenters who understand the challenges of climate change and who know how to share that expertise. All of these presentations will be on Saturday, October 17, beginning at 9:30 AM and lasting until 5:30 PM, which allows many people to attend for just the day. Others can make a night or a weekend of it in the Highlands!

We are planning plenty of time and space at this event for interest group discussions and for outings in the beautiful Blackwater region.

Regular Registration (August 1 – October 1) is $100; Late Registration (October 2 – October 16) is $125. Scholarship assistance is available to help students and teachers and low-income persons attend; contact conference organizers for scholarship information.
