Sinclair Broadcast Group has a TV / Digital news presence in more than 60 markets nationwide.
They take a multi-platform approach to telling stories and have hired scores of graduates from the Penn State Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science in the past.
And they have an internal program that can help our news staff to move from one market to another within our company and have their benefits move with them.
- One particular need that many of our stations have is for meteorologists who can also be multimedia journalists (MMJs).
- And we are planning to expand our news operations in the State College, PA area as well!
