The Ken Reeves Memorial Weather Briefings occur weekly on Thursdays at 12:30 PM in the Joel N. Myers Weather Center on the 6th floor of Walker Building.
These briefings are a great way to keep up with the past, current, and future weather with the scientific explanations behind it all. Everyone is invited to attend and only basic meteorological backgrounds are assumed. The briefings offer more detail than you would receive in a standard television/online weathercast, but the talks are informal and questions/commentary are invited and welcomed.
Paul Knight will be presenting on Thursday, February 12 at 12:30pm. Paul Knight is the Pennsylvania State Climatologist and a senior lecturer of synoptic meteorology at Penn State. With such an active weather pattern recently, this will be a great discussion to attend. Cold air will likely be the headline during the later part of the week into the weekend.
Date/Time: Thursday (2/12) at 12:30 PM. Place: Joel N. Myers Weather Center
