The Department of Meteorology has always known that having a great place for students to relax, work, and study together--like the Department Weather Station--creates a strong sense of community among faculty, staff, and students. In fact, our Weather Station facility served as a model for the student-centered mission that Dean Eric Barron put into motion in EMS several years ago with the Deike Building renovation project. Now after 30 plus years in existence, it's time for Meteorology to consider a face-lift of its own student-centered complex.

This project will require a significant fund-raising campaign. We propose to create an endowment that will sustain the weather station facilities well into the future. If you are interested in contributing to this project, please contact the Department of Meteorology (814-863-8568) or The EMS Development Office (814-863-2289).
