Below is the most recent Water Vapor Satellite Imagery for the United States.

In this satellite image, moist conditions in the atmosphere are represented by bright violet, blue, and green hues. Conversely, a dry environment is indicated by shades of gray and red tints. Water vapor images are useful in operational meteorology because unseen features (such as shortwaves) on traditional visible and infrared images, can now be tracked.
