The Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the National Taiwan University (DAS-NTU) is looking to hire one to two faculty members at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels, starting in August 2025. The preferred expertise lies in areas such as severe weather (e.g., typhoon and mesoscale convection), East Asian monsoon, extreme weather and climate, atmospheric physics and chemistry, observation/instrument/remote sensing, or emerging critical topics in atmospheric sciences. The deadline for application is December 5, 2024.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in atmospheric sciences or closely related fields, preferably with postdoctoral experience. They should also have the capability to develop unique and innovative research projects and possess teaching experience.
