The Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the University of Colorado Boulder has an immediate opening for an Associate Scientist/Data Analyst working with NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information’s (NCEI). This position would work in the Solar Imaging Team which currently has responsibilities on the GOES-R series Solar UltraViolet Imager (SUVI) and the Compact Coronagraph programs. These instruments are part of the space weather forecasting apparatus that is maintained by NOAA.
