The Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at CU Boulder encourages applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate or Research Scientist within NOAA’s Chemical Sciences Laboratory (CSL) in Boulder, Colorado. The successful candidate will work in the VOC group of the Tropospheric Chemistry program alongside a number of federal and university employees engaged in research investigating trace gases and their impacts on air quality and climate.

Position Summary:

Within GLBRC and LTAR, our group studies the net ecosystem exchanges of water, energy, CO2, CH4 and N2O at three different bioenergy crops and two land use histories. The position provides support for GLBRC and LTAR funded research focused on understanding net ecosystem exchanges of water, energy, CO2, CH4 and N2O at major bioenergy and agricultural crops, primarily through establishment of eddy-covariance flux towers.
