The position focuses on work related to the solar irradiance monitors on the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites Series-R (GOES-R). The GOES-R spacecraft each contain a suite of space weather sensors, including the Extreme Ultraviolet and X-ray Irradiance Sensors (EXIS).
