Student Life

Graduate Student LunchMeteorology graduate students now have their very own lounge on the 4th floor of Walker Building (409 Walker).  It's a great place to share coffee and conversation with their classmates and meteo faculty and staff.  This lounge was furnished via a generous donation from an anonymous faculty member.

During 2008, the Joel N. Myers Weather Center on the 6th floor of Walker Building underwent a major renovation.   In the past, this space was primarily used by the undergraduate students, but of course, the spectacular new area is open for use by all the graduate students and faculty and staff as well.

Graduate students have a number of opportunities to get involved in department, college, and university activities, a few of which are listed below and in the menu to the left.
